Temple Run 2 To Be Released
Well, the next Temple Run isn’t quite the sequel to the first one, but a combined release between Imangi Studios’s mega-hit Temple Run, and Pixar’s new soon-to-be-hit film ‘Brave’, a weird mixture to be named, that’s right, Temple Run Brave.
It’s not the most orthodox combination we’ve seen, but one thing is sure – if you got hooked on Temple Run, you won’t let go of this one neither, as most of the game features will be quite similar, other than new themes, characters and of course background story.
At Temple Run Brave App, you will play the role of Merida, the lead character in Pixar’s film. This time, you will not run away from crazy monkeys, but from the evil demon-bear named Mordu. One noticeable add-on in this version will be the element of using archery against targets as you run along, which wasn’t an option in the basic Temple Run.
Speaking at a Pixar convention earlier this month, the CEO of Imangi Studios said that it’s actually been his lifelong dream to co-operate with Pixar and Disney on a similar project, and it was only obvious Temple Run will connect them to each other, as it has gained massive popularity in the past year.
Temple Run App has been entitled by Time Magazine as one of the best Apps to download on your mobile device, as over 80 millions smartphone users already have!
While ‘Brave’ is planned to be out at June 22nd, Temple Run Brave is set to hit the App Store at June 14th, for the price of 0.99$ per download. The new features will also include the options of letting you know how well are you doing score-wise, compared to other worldwide addicts.
Our Temple Run High scores competition have ended successfully last April. Who knows, maybe one of our next contests will actually be for Temple Run Brave’s best score!
